Prices follow the salon’s Naver Place listing (October 2026). The price also depends on the stylist’s level, hair length and hair condition, and your stylist confirms the final price before work starts.

A men’s cut is about three zones

Think of a men’s haircut as three separate decisions: the sides and back, the top, and the hairline. Each can be left natural, tapered or cut very short. When you describe the cut zone by zone, there is little room for misunderstanding.

  • Sides and back: a clean taper, a short fade or a natural length that only looks tidier.
  • Top: short and textured, medium and swept, or longer and parted.
  • Hairline: a sharp line at the neck and ears, or a soft, natural edge.

How the cut is done

Men’s cuts often use clippers on the sides and scissors on the top, then blend the two where they meet. The blend is the part that separates a tidy cut from a rough one. A stylist checks it from several angles, with the head tilted forward and to each side.

The top is usually cut with the hair lifted and pointed, which removes weight and gives texture. If you want a drier, matte finish, say so. If you want a smoother, polished look, say that instead. Both can start from the same cut but finish differently.

Reference photos and plain numbers

Photos work well, but numbers work even better. Pinch your hair where you want the top to end and tell the stylist roughly how many centimeters that is. For the sides, point to a spot on your head: “start tapering here.”

  • Bring a front, side and back photo of the cut you like.
  • Add one photo of your current hair without product.
  • Mention a cowlick, a receding hairline or a strong crown. These change where the hair should be left longer.

Photos of models with different hair density than yours can mislead, so tell the stylist what you think will not translate.

How stylist level changes the price

The menu lists two haircut levels: Designer at ₩44,000 and Director at ₩120,000. Both prices come from the Naver Place listing. The final price depends on the stylist level you book, your hair length and its condition, and the stylist confirms it before work starts.

For a maintenance cut where the style stays the same, many guests find Designer level enough. For a change in shape, a mixed-length style or a hairline that needs careful handling, a Director-level cut gives you more planning time with a senior stylist. This is a general guide. The stylist makes the call after seeing your hair.

Keeping it neat between visits

Short sides lose their edge faster than the top. Many men feel the outline softening after three to five weeks, while longer styles can last longer. That is a general range, not a rule. If you have a fixed schedule, such as a business trip, book the cut a few days before it so the shape is fresh but not stiff.

At home, towel-dry gently and use a small amount of product on dry hair, not wet. Ask the stylist which finish suits the cut.

Fitting it into a trip

The salon is open Tuesday to Saturday, 10:00 to 19:30, and closed on Sunday and Monday. A Saturday appointment before the closed days does not leave time for a rebook, so book early. Directions and the Apgujeong Rodeo Station Exit 3 route are on the location page. Steps for booking are on the booking page.

If you want a perm or color alongside the cut, see men’s perm. For more style ideas, read Korean haircut styles for men.
