How to book a Korean hair salon in English: the Naver Booking process
Most Korean salons take bookings through Naver, a local portal. At WENEED BLACK THE CHEONGDAM you book through the salon's Naver Place and Naver Booking pages, and each stylist has an individual booking page. This guide covers the steps and what to prepare before you book.

The short answer
Search for the salon on Naver Place, open its Naver Booking page, choose a stylist, pick a date and time, and confirm. At WENEED BLACK THE CHEONGDAM each stylist has an individual booking page, so you choose the person first and the slot second.
Before you book, decide what you want, check the days the salon is open and gather photos and hair history. That preparation matters more than the booking screen itself, because it lets the stylist plan the visit properly.
The salon is open Tuesday to Saturday, 10:00–19:30, and closed Sunday and Monday. Do not plan a Sunday or Monday visit.
What Naver is and why salons use it
Naver is a large Korean web portal. Businesses list themselves on Naver Place, which works like a map listing with address, hours and menu. Many salons attach Naver Booking to that listing so guests can reserve a time online.
For a visitor, the benefit is clarity: you see the salon, the menu and the available times in one place. The salon's Naver Place listing is also where the menu prices on this site come from. See the price list for the figures.
Naver Booking is usually used with a Naver account. Check what the booking page asks you to provide, since screens and requirements can change. This site does not control the Naver pages.
Step by step
- Choose a service. Cut, perm, color, care treatment or head spa. Read the hair services menu first.
- Check the days. Tuesday to Saturday, 10:00–19:30.
- Find the salon on Naver Place. Search the salon name or the address: 4F, 34 Apgujeong-ro 80-gil, Gangnam-gu, Seoul.
- Open Naver Booking and pick a stylist. The three stylists are Sil, Suna and Hyungwook. See the stylists page.
- Select a date and time. Allow more time for color, bleach and perms, since they take longer than a cut.
- Add notes where the form allows it. Mention your goal and recent chemical work.
- Confirm and save the details. Take a screenshot of the confirmation.
What to prepare before you book
- Photos: two or three of the hair you want, from the front, side and back, and one of your hair as it is now.
- Hair history: dates of your last color, bleach, perm or straightening, written down.
- Length: how much you want removed, in centimeters or with a finger gesture.
- Scalp notes: any sensitivity or past reactions to hair products.
- Your dates: a first choice and a backup within Tuesday to Saturday.
Photos and written dates are easy to show on a phone and need no discussion. For more ideas, read how to explain your hairstyle to a Korean stylist.
Choosing a stylist and a service time
Prices at the salon are stylist-level based, for example Designer or Director. The price also depends on length and hair condition, so the stylist confirms the final price. Look at the listed prices before you pick, and choose the stylist whose booking page and level fit your plan.
Time is the other choice. A cut is the quickest service. Color, bleach and perms need longer, and bleaching dark hair to a light shade may need more than one visit. If you have a flight or a fixed schedule, book earlier in your trip rather than later.
On the day
The salon is on the 4th floor of 34 Apgujeong-ro 80-gil, Gangnam-gu. The nearest station is Apgujeong Rodeo Station on the Suin-Bundang Line, Exit 3, 586 m away. For other routes, enter the address into a route planner. See location and directions.
Arrive a little early, show your photos and hair history, and let the stylist check your hair before work begins. The salon has a private styling area where curtains close off the view from outside.
