Hair salon for business travelers in Seoul
If you are in Seoul for work, the main challenge is timing. WENEED BLACK THE CHEONGDAM is open Tuesday to Saturday, 10:00 to 19:30, and closed Sunday and Monday. This page helps you fit a hair appointment around meetings and flights.

Start with the calendar
The salon is open five days a week: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. It is closed on Sunday and Monday. If your trip is short, the closed days matter. A visit that begins on a Friday evening and ends on Monday leaves only Saturday to book, and that day is often busy.
Mark the days you are free and the hours you are not. The last day matters most. A salon appointment on the day of a flight is risky because services such as color or perm can run long. Do the work earlier in the trip, then use a later day for a trim if needed.
Pick a service that fits the time you have
The salon does not publish fixed durations, because they depend on length, thickness and what you choose. As a general rule, a haircut is the shortest service on the menu, while perm and color take longer. Care and head spa are separate services. When your schedule is tight, ask the stylist for a rough timeline at the time of booking.
- Before a meeting: a haircut a day or two ahead lets the shape settle.
- Before a conference: avoid big color changes right before the event, so there is time to adjust.
- Mid-trip refresh: a trim, or a bangs cut, takes little planning.
Book in advance
Booking is through the salon’s Naver Place and Naver Booking. Each stylist has an individual booking page, so you can choose a person and a time that match your calendar. The booking guide describes the steps. Book as soon as your flight and meeting dates are settled, and write your goal in the booking note.
Meet the team on the stylists page: Sil, Suna and Hyungwook.
Getting to the salon
The salon is at 4F, 34 Apgujeong-ro 80-gil, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. The nearest station is Apgujeong Rodeo on the Suin-Bundang Line. Exit 3 is 586 m away, a walking time of roughly eight to ten minutes.
If your hotel or office is elsewhere in Seoul, use a route planner on your phone to check the travel time on the day, since traffic changes it. We do not give travel times from other places. Directions are on the location page.
Prices and approvals
Price is set by stylist level, service, length and hair condition. The stylist confirms the final price before work starts. If you need to plan an expense report, check the price list in advance and keep the stylist’s confirmed price in your notes. We have not confirmed payment methods, so ask the salon rather than assuming.
Choose a plan with a margin. A clean cut and a short tidy-up may be all you need for a polished week.
Privacy and quiet
Some travelers prefer not to be seen while working on their hair. The salon has a private styling area where curtains close off the view from outside. Read what this does and does not mean on the private styling page. Mention your preference in the booking note.
Also bring reference photos, so the stylist can work quickly and accurately. A clear brief is the surest way to save time during a busy trip.
