What friendly means on this page

Many salons use the word friendly. We use it in a narrow, practical sense. It means a visitor can find the salon, understand the schedule, book a slot and know what happens in the chair without guessing.

We do not list language skills here, because we only publish what we can confirm. What we can confirm is the location, the opening days, the booking route and the private styling area. The rest of this page is built on those facts.

Find the salon

WENEED BLACK THE CHEONGDAM is at 4F, 34 Apgujeong-ro 80-gil, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. In Korean the address reads 서울 강남구 압구정로80길 34, 4층. Save the Korean line in your phone notes, because taxi drivers and map apps accept it directly.

The nearest station is Apgujeong Rodeo Station on the Suin-Bundang Line. Use Exit 3. The salon is 586 m from that exit. Before you leave, open your own route planner and enter the Korean address as the destination, so the route starts from where you actually are.

The salon is on the 4th floor. Check the floor number on the building directory when you arrive.

Open days and hours

The salon is open Tuesday to Saturday from 10:00 to 19:30. Sunday and Monday are off the calendar. If your trip is short, check this first, because two days of the week are unavailable for booking.

Some services take longer than others. A cut is usually a shorter visit than a perm or a color change, and a color change with bleach can fill much of a day. Choose your slot with the service in mind, and ask the stylist how long your plan will take.

Booking through Naver

Bookings run through the salon's Naver Place and Naver Booking. Each stylist has an individual booking page, so you choose the person first and then look for a time. The three stylists are Sil (Head Director), Suna and Hyungwook (Hair Designer). See the stylists page for how they are listed.

A private styling area

How pricing is set

Pricing is based on stylist level, such as Designer or Director. Price also depends on your hair length and condition, and the stylist confirms the final price. We show no figures on this page. For the menu from the salon's Naver Place listing, open the price list.

A short checklist before you go

• Save the Korean address and the Exit 3 detail.
• Pick a day between Tuesday and Saturday.
• Choose a stylist and open that person's booking page.
• Collect two or three photos of the result you want.
